3DS welcomes the new R&D Manager

Recently, 3DS has approved the appointment of Mr. Hoang Trung Kien to the position of R&D Manager. Mr. Kien will take on the leading role of the R&D department and be responsible for the company’s technology, technical efficiency and 3D technology solutions.

Mr. Kien has over 5 years as a lecturer in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. Before that, Mr. Kien had a bachelor’s degree from Hanoi University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. After that, he continued to study to his doctorate from 2009 to 2015 at Kyungpook National University, South Korea. His doctoral dissertation on the development of wire cutting machining techniques – WEDM was a huge hit at that time. Many newspapers in South Korea also reported on his achievements.
